We (TANAPA) are looking for a Clinic Officer to join our healthcare team. As a Clinic Officer, you will help run our clinic smoothly and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and treating common illnesses
- Giving medicine prescriptions to patients
- Providing comprehensive and good quality healthcare to patients
- Attending to medical emergencies
- Coordinating Reproductive Child Health Services (RCH)
- Performing minor surgeries
- Preparing and submitting medical reports to the relevant authority
- Working with the District Medical Officer’s office to provide healthcare in the park
- Following best practices in your specialized area of work
- Providing healthcare according to National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) guidelines
- Referring patients for further care and following up on their referrals
- Keeping medicine, first aid kits, and medical supplies safe
- Requesting necessary medical facilities, supplies, and equipment
- Preparing and distributing first aid kits in the park
- Providing first aid and preventive care training to people in the park
- Educating people about infectious and non-infectious diseases and offering voluntary counseling and testing
- Advising park management on improving healthcare, environmental health, sanitation, and medical waste disposal
- Keeping the clinic and its surroundings clean
- Participating in budget preparation and planning for clinic services and health/sanitation activities

Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Must have a valid license from the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT)
