Announcement

We are seeking two highly skilled Laboratory Scientists to join our team at Chuo Kikuu Kishiriki cha Elimu Mkwawa (MUCE).

As a Laboratory Scientist II, you will be responsible for carrying out specified routine technical tasks with a higher degree of technical knowledge and skills.

Additionally, you will be involved in implementing maintenance plans for laboratory facilities, executing technical plans and designs related to research, students’ practical work, and consultancy projects.

The successful candidates will report to their assigned officer and perform any other duties as assigned.

Dutie and Responsibilities

1. Independently carry out specified routine technical tasks that require advanced technical knowledge and skills.
2. Implement maintenance plans for laboratory facilities as per specifications.
3. Execute technical plans and designs connected with research, students’ practical work, and consultancy projects.
4. Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting officer.

Qualifications and Experience

• Holder of a First Degree/Advanced Diploma/NTA level 8 in Laboratory Sciences or from a recognized institution.

Renumeration: PUSS 4
