We are seeking a qualified Lab Technician to perform various technical laboratory procedures.

Job Summary

This role involves handling sensitive equipment for sample analysis and testing, with a focus on safety and accurate reporting to a laboratory manager.

The ideal candidate should have experience working in potentially hazardous conditions, be well-trained in safety protocols, and be passionate about contributing to meaningful work.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and analyze samples (e.g., blood, toxic substances, tissues).
• Design and execute laboratory tests following standard procedures, making observations and interpreting findings.
• Conduct experiments under defined conditions to validate or reject hypotheses using scientific methods.
• Organize and store chemicals, fluids, and gases according to safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of data and results in specified forms (both paper and electronic).
• Assist in equipment maintenance and ordering laboratory supplies.
• Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly lab environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Lab Technician or in a related position.
• Proficiency in operating electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment and handling potentially dangerous substances (e.g., flammable liquids, infectious bacteria, biohazards).
• In-depth knowledge of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) systems, preventative measures, and laboratory best practices.
• Excellent physical condition and endurance.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and database systems.
• Ability to work autonomously and perform well under pressure.
• Valid laboratory technician license.

Remuneration: Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications, ranging from USD 1500 to 3500.
