They focus on various critical areas, including communicable diseases like HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, as well as Reproductive, Maternal, New-born, and Child health (RMNCH), Nutrition, Non-Communicable Diseases of public health significance, and Health System Strengthening.
MDH places a strong emphasis on collaboration, partnering with local and global institutions, the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly, and Children (MOHCDGEC), the President’s Office Regional Authorities and Local Government (PORALG), donor agencies, academic and non-academic institutions, implementing partners, civil society, community-based, and faith-based organizations, among others.
In conjunction with the Dar es Salaam City Council, Temeke, Kinondoni, Kigamboni, and Ubungo Municipal Councils, along with Amana, Mwananyamala, and Temeke Regional Referral Hospitals, MDH is inviting qualified candidates to apply for volunteer positions.
