Assistant Nursing Officers Job
Assistant Nursing Officer is responsible for providing direct patient care and overseeing the nursing staff in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital or clinic.
They will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide patient care, and their primary duties include administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and developing and implementing patient care plans.
Asistant Nursing Officers will also play a critical role in educating patients and their families about healthcare, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Ensure that patient care is delivered in a safe and effective manner, and work to maintain a high standard of quality care.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing nursing services.
- Collecting important health statistics.
- Directing the work of the nurses under him.
- Educating patients and the community about their health problems.
- Providing preventive and reproductive services.
- Doing other work assigned by his superior.
Qualifications
Form four or six graduates who possess a Nursing Diploma of at least two years from a college recognized by the Government and registered with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council
Remuneration: TGSH B
