List of Employed Teachers 2023/2024 – PDF Format In the year 2023, the President of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, approved the hiring of 21,200 individuals. Out of this number, 13,130 were teachers and 8,070 were healthcare workers.
After receiving the authorization, the President’s Office – TAMISEMI announced that individuals who had graduated in the fields of Teaching and Health should apply for jobs through an online system. The application period was from April 12th to April 25th, 2023. A total of 171,916 applications were received, with 76,190 women and 95,726 men applying. Out of these, 48,705 applications were for healthcare positions, and 123,211 applications were for teaching positions.

List of Employed Teachers 2023/2024 TAMISEMI Tanzania will soon announce the names of newly hired teachers for primary and secondary schools. All teachers must report to their assigned workplaces within a specific timeframe. Failure to do so will result in their positions being given to others.
To apply for these positions, eligible teachers were required to submit their applications online through the employment portal ajira.tamisemi.go.tz. This announcement is open to graduates of Teacher Training Courses from 2015 to 2023. Applicants who had previously applied through the employment system are also required to reapply.

- Grade III B Teacher: Holds a Teaching Diploma and specialized in Special Education with English Language, Literature in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
- Grade III C Teacher: Holds a Teaching Degree and specialized in Education Special for English Language, Literature in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
- Teacher Grade III B: Holds a Teaching Diploma in English Language, Literature in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Basic Mathematics.
- Grade III C Teacher: Holds a Teaching Degree in English Language, Literature in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Basic Mathematics.
- Standard Laboratory Technician: Holds a Diploma in Standard Laboratory Technician or Laboratory Science and Technology.
Primary School Teachers 2023
- Grade III A Teacher: Holds a Primary Education Teaching Diploma and specializes in Sports Education, Special Education, and Primary Education.
- Grade III B Teacher: Must have a teaching certificate (diploma) and studied Basic Education.
- Grade III C Teacher: Must have a teaching degree in Early Education.
TAMISEMI List of Employed Teachers 2023 PDF In June 2023, TAMISEMI will announce the names of teachers who will be hired for primary and secondary schools in Tanzania.
