The Medical Officer of the Referral Hospital of Temeke Region announces various contract positions:

1. Laboratory Technologist II – (2 Posts)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Test samples brought to the laboratory.
- Store samples that need to be examined or sent to high-level laboratories.
- Perform laboratory inspection tasks, reagents, equipment, chemicals, and chemical storage.
- Keep laboratory records obtained during the investigation.
- Teach the subordinates under him.
- Perform other assigned work related to his education, experience, and skills.
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology for a period of three years in one of the mentioned fields from a College recognized by the Government and registered with Councils.
2. Laboratory Assistant Technologist II – (1 Posts)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare reagents for laboratory tests.
- Perform preliminary work on the samples brought to the laboratory.
- Collect blood from patients and volunteers.
- Record the test results in the register.
- Prepare work equipment.
- Store all necessary samples according to the procedures after investigation.
- Perform other assigned work related to his education, experience, and knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience
Form IV graduates with a two-year certificate in the mentioned fields from a College recognized by the Government and registered with their Councils.
3. Laboratory Assistant – (1 Posts)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean the laboratory in general.
- Receive and handle laboratory samples.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the work leader.
Qualifications and Experience
Form IV graduates who received one-year training in the field of laboratory health.
4. Pharmaceutical Technologist II – (2 Posts)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Classify, prepare, and order the needs of drugs and medical equipment in the workplace.
- Distribute medicine and medical equipment to patients and staff.
- Mix drugs.
- Store medicine and medical supplies.
- Educate the community about the correct use of drugs.
- Inspect drugs, chemical therapy equipment, reagents, and cosmetics in the workplace.
- Provide information on the side effects of drug use.
- Coordinate the work of the hospital drug committee.
- Prepare information on the use of drugs and medical devices.
- Conduct quality inspections of drugs, chemical therapy equipment, reagents, and cosmetics.
- Conduct various inspections in places where medicines are stored.
- Supervise the performance of the employees under him.
- Keep records of medicines and medical supplies.
- Perform other assigned work related to his education, experience, and skills.
Qualification and Experience
Holder of Diploma in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology for a period of three years in one of the mentioned fields from a College recognized by the Government and registered with Councils.
5. Receptionists (3 Posts)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive visitors and interview them about their problems.
- Follow up with customers and direct them to where they will be served with what they need.
- Solve customer problems over the phone.
Qualifications and Experience
Employed graduates of Form IV and qualified Reception training and receiving calls from Government recognized institution.
6. Relationship Officers – (1 Posts)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining the register of office visitors and analyzing visitors who come in to give advice on the best course of action to receive guests.
- Receiving and forwarding local call requests.
- Directing office visitors to where they will be served.
- Closely monitoring customer feedback.
- Keeping a register of calls received from outside the office and those that are taken out.
- Helping prepare advertisements to promote the Institute through browsers, radio, newspapers, and articles.
- Receiving complaints from stakeholders and citizens in general regarding the performance of the Institute.
- Assisting in the investigation of submitted complaints to the Institute.
- Helping find solutions to submitted complaints.
- Writing work implementation reports, including quarterly reports and reports for half a year.
- Performing other tasks corresponding to their duties as assigned by their Head.
Qualifications and experience
Holder of a degree in Public Relations (Public relationships).
General Conditions
- All applicants should be citizens of Tanzania and not more than 45 years of age.
- All applicants must attach a birth certificate.
- Applicants should attach a self-sufficient personal information (Detailed C.V) with addresses and reliable phone numbers, and the names of three reliable referees.
- Results: “Statement of results” document. The results of the fourth and sixth forms (FORM IV AND FORM VI RESULTS SLIPS) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- Applicants who studied outside Tanzania should verify that their certificates have been reviewed and approved by the relevant Authority (TOCU, NECTA, AND NACTE).
- All applications must be accompanied by professional certificates, information, copies of certificates certified by a Lawyer/Attorney, including certificates of the fourth form and sixth form for those who reached that level, and various training certificates based on job characteristics.
- Submission of falsified information will result in legal action.
