We are currently seeking three skilled and dedicated Radiography Technicians to join our team.
As a Radiography Technician II, you will play a crucial role in providing quality diagnostic services through the use of x-ray equipment.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the healthcare field and make a difference in the lives of patients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform x-rays on patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of x-ray equipment.
- Supervise the sterilization of radiology instruments in the unit.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of x-ray diagnoses.
- Manage and maintain patients’ x-ray records, waiting for seniors to interpret and provide results.
- Provide training and supervision to junior staff in the unit.
- Offer technical advice on radiation to ensure safety in the unit.
- Prepare contrast media and chemicals required for x-rays.
- Process x-ray films efficiently.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and BMH business processes.
- Perform any other duties related to the role as assigned by superiors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a Diploma in Radiography or a related field.
- Must be registered by the Medical Radiology and Imaging Professional Council.
Remuneration: An attractive remuneration package will be offered in accordance with the Hospital Scheme of Service.
