10305 Tamisemi Healthcare Jobs Approved by The President

Minister of State, President Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI) Hon. Mohamed Mchengerwa, has expressed his gratitude to Her Excellency President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan (President of The United Republic of Tanzania) for approving the request to hire an additional 10,305 healthcare workers for the fiscal year 2023/24.

These new employees will be assigned to recently established healthcare facilities to commence public service.

On the official TAMISEMI Instagram page, a post has been made to express gratitude to the honorable President for accepting the request of 10,305 healthcare job

Addressing an audience in Dar es Salaam on October 28, 2023, during the launch of the Maternal and Child Health and Malaria Indicators Report for 2022, Mr. Mchengerwa stated that the ongoing infrastructure improvements are in alignment with the availability of human resources.

TAMISEMI has already recruited 17,950 healthcare professionals over the past two years, and an additional 10,305 are anticipated to be employed for the 2023/24 financial year.

“The healthcare facilities that have been completed are now ready to serve our citizens. I take this opportunity to strongly urge Regional and District Administrators to ensure that these healthcare facilities, which have already been finalized, initiate healthcare service delivery. Substantial healthcare personnel and medical equipment have been provided,” he emphasized

“The government has made significant investments in constructing high-quality healthcare infrastructure and providing medical equipment. Therefore, I call upon the healthcare workers responsible for serving the public in healthcare facilities across the country to ensure the delivery of excellent services and maintain positive customer relations,” he stated.

He reaffirmed his commitment to taking disciplinary action against any healthcare workers found to be negligent in their duties.

“I also use this opportunity to call upon citizens seeking healthcare services at our facilities not to hesitate in reporting any staff members who are not diligently performing their duties, are negligent, or fail to fulfill their responsibilities properly. This will enable me to take appropriate and timely action through the customer service center at the following numbers: 0735-160210 and 0262-160210,” he concluded.
