Contract Job Announcement

Account Assistant – (2 Posts)

Qualifications and Experience

  • Applicants must possess a Diploma in Accountancy from a government-recognized institution or an Accounting Technician Certificate (ATEC) level I or “Foundation Level” issued by NBAA, or equivalent qualifications recognized by NBAA.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accounting registers
  • Preparing payment vouchers and receipts
  • Keeping accounting records
  • Submitting accounting documents to banks
  • Managing payment documents
  • Resolving financial disputes, debts, bank reconciliations, and deposits
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Salary Scale: TGS B

Radiology Technologist Grade I – (1 Post)

Qualifications and Experience

  • Applicants must hold a Diploma in Radiology Technology from a government-recognized institution and registered with the relevant Council.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducting medical examinations on referred patients
  • Maintaining radiology equipment in the workplace
  • Reviewing X-Ray images for diagnostic quality
  • Managing patient images until results are received by referring doctors
  • Providing advice on Radiology and Radiation issues in the workplace
  • Preparing medical equipment and supervising sterilization in the workplace
  • Providing initial training to assigned personnel in the workplace

Salary Scale: TGHS B

Anesthesia and Analgesia Technician

Qualifications and Experience

  • Applicants must possess a Diploma in Nursing, with at least two years of experience, from a government-recognized institution, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Tanzania, and hold a certificate in Anesthesia and Analgesia training.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing nursing services
  • Providing anesthesia and analgesia services
  • Collecting relevant health statistics
  • Directing subordinate nurses
  • Educating patients and the community about their health issues
  • Providing obstetric services
  • Performing other duties assigned by the supervisor related to education, experience, and skills

Salary Scale: TGHS B

Laboratory Assistant/Technologist

Qualifications and Experience

  • Applicants must be Form Four graduates with a two-year certificate in the mentioned fields from a government-recognized institution and registered with their respective councils.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing laboratory reagents
  • Conducting preliminary laboratory tests
  • Collecting blood samples from patients and volunteers
  • Recording test results in registers
  • Preparing work equipment
  • Conducting sample analysis according to procedures
  • Performing other duties assigned by the supervisor related to education, experience, and skills

Salary Scale: TGHS A

General Terms

  • Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged not more than 45 years.
  • Applications must include a recent Curriculum Vitae with reliable contact information and three referees.
  • All applications must be accompanied by certified copies of birth certificates, Form Four and Six certificates, and professional certificates from relevant boards.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs are required.
  • Provisional/testimonial/statement of results will not be accepted.
  • Applicants educated outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and endorsed by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).
  • Applications should be in Kiswahili or English.
