Hospital of ST. CAROLUS – MTINKO (CDH) has received approval for professional employment of health in the Nursing cadre who will be employed at St. Carolus – Mtinko is located in Singida Region, Singida Rural Council and It is owned by the Sisters of Love Association of Mt. Carol Borromeo.

The hospital announces job vacancies for health cadres at the following levels;

Clinical officer II TGHS – B (3 Positions)

Tasks and responsibilities

• Carry out medical work in accordance with the guidelines, procedures, and values ​​of medically
• Prepare a work plan for medical care
• Provide preventive and curative services
• Diagnose and treat common illnesses
• Keep accurate disease records
• Collect, analyze, and maintain medical statistics of health information
• Educate the community about basic health
• Supervise the performance of subordinates
• Participate in planning and implementing basic health services
• Advise and motivate citizens to contribute to health services provided by the hospital
• Provide voluntary HIV testing counseling
• Keep records of equipment and tools to service your part of work
• Keep records and prepare and provide implementation information
• Have good language skills for patients and colleagues
• Perform other tasks assigned by the head of related tasks and based on education, experience, and skills.

Assistant Nursing Officer II TGHS-B (3 Positions)

Qualifications of applicants

• Graduates of a two-year nursing and midwifery diploma (certificate)
• Certificate in Nursing and midwifery from a college recognized by the government
• Registered from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Tanzania (Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council)
• Licensed by the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council)

Tasks and responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties and serve customers in the community, hospitals, and all areas where health services are provided.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of health workers in the section of work
• Collect statistics and prepare information on work performance
• Provide care to patients at home
• Provide counseling
• Provide preventive and contraceptive services
• Provide maternal and child health services
• Educate patients and the community about their health problems
• Monitor the maintenance of work tools in work areas
• Perform other work assigned by the superior related to education, experience, and skills.

3. Class II Nurse – (Enrolled Nurse II) TGHS A1 (4 Positions) Qualifications of the applicant:

• Completed Nursing training in a college recognized by the Council of Nurses and Midwives Tanzania or nursing training at the level of certificate
• Graduates of a two-year certificate in nursing and midwifery from a college recognized by the government and enrolled (Enrolled) by the Council Nurses and Midwives in Tanzania
• Registered from the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council)
• Licensed by the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients/clients in accordance with law, professional ethics as well as the guidelines contained in the section to work on.
• To provide education to patients and the community in their environment.
• Monitoring the health problems of patients and the community in their environment
• Providing immunization services for mothers and mothers with safe childbirth,
• Supervise, coordinate and monitor the work of subordinates.
• To do other work as directed by his superior.

Medical Attendant – TGHOS A1 (1 Position)

Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of Health worker training
• Minimum of two years of experience in fields such as Nursing, Laboratory, Dentistry, Radiology, Orthopedic Surgery, Prosthetics, Fusion Medicine, Environmental Health, Mortuary, or related areas
• Tanzanian citizenship
• National ID (NIDA) and birth certificate
• Maximum age of 45 years

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Monitor and address health problems of patients and the community in their environment.
2. Provide education on health-related issues to patients and the community.
3. Offer immunization services for mothers and ensure safe childbirth.
4. Supervise, coordinate, and monitor subordinate staff.
5. Perform additional tasks assigned by superiors.

General characteristics of qualified Cadre Applicants:

• Possession of training certificates (Form four, six, professional) and full registration, along with a license to work in the relevant profession.
• Submission of academic transcripts or result slips.
• Not currently employed by the government or religious hospitals funded by the government.
• No history of termination, resignation, or retirement from public service.
• For applicants who studied abroad, careful number of results (Equivalent Number) from the examination board and certificates verified by NACTE or TCU.

• Willingness to work at St. Carolus Hospital and in off-site clinics if required.
