We are seeking dedicated and skilled Clinical Officers to join our team at the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR).

As a Clinical Officer II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care, diagnosing diseases, prescribing treatments, administering first aid, and performing various clinical duties.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to medical research and make a positive impact on the health and well-being of the population.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting proper diagnosis of diseases
• Prescribing appropriate treatments
• Treating wounds and administering first aid for medical emergencies
• Administering anesthesia during operations
• Attending general outpatient clinics
• Performing any other duties as assigned by superiors

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of a Form IV or VI certificate
• Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution
• Proven experience as a Clinical Officer will be an added advantage
• Good knowledge of medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Valid practicing license as a Clinical Officer
