Announcement

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Technologist II to join our laboratory team at Chuo Kikuu cha Dar es Salaam (UDSM).

The successful candidate will assist in conducting various laboratory tests and ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in performing various laboratory tests following established protocols and procedures.
• Prepare reagents for routine examination of patients.
• Maintain cleanliness in the laboratory and ensure the availability of clean glassware.
• Safely store and handle all samples for investigations.
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Holders of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences and Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized and reputable institution.
• Proficiency in computer skills will be an added advantage.

Remuneration

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary based on the Public Service Remuneration Scale – PMGSS 4.

• Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced level education should be verified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
• Professional certificates from foreign Universities and other training institutions should be verified by The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE).
• Presentation of forged certificates and other information will necessitate legal action.
